Make your own arrangements, Fire hoses, huge overhead water tanks & plenty of Fire extinguishers alone can save you. You only get a few minutes to end a fire before it becomes uncontrollable. And it takes time for the fire trucks to arrive and setup; and most of the time it’s too late.

The flames can be seen burning on both sides of the road as he drove to safety. It’s a sobering look at just how fast this fire spread during the extreme winds and dangerous fire weather. The Cherry Fire is one of several large wildfires that rapidly grew across central Utah today, forcing evacuations, closing roads, and sending thick smoke across much of the state. If you’re in or near an evacuation area, don’t wait. Leave when you’re told. Conditions can change in minutes. Thank you to the family for allowing me to share this incredible video. Stay safe, Utah. 🔥
