Hezbollah has released footage of another FPV drone attack targeting an Israeli Merkava Mk3 tank near the Lebanon border. The video appears to show a direct hit on the tank. Keep in mind that the Mk3 is not equipped with the Trophy active protection system (APS).

The recent war in southern Lebanon has proven the weaknesses of the Trophy active protection system (APS) installed on the armored vehicles and tanks of the IDF. This footage released by the Hezbollah terrorist organization clearly shows how one of their FPV drones hit a Merkava Mk4 main battle tank of the IDF exactly next to its APS, and you can see that Trophy did not activate to prevent the drone from hitting it. This is not the only Merkava that has been hit during this recent war. We have seen several other cases, whether released by the Hezbollah terrorist organization or others.
