Hi all, #Steamfix video today, a class 24 diesel has failed on a heavy freight and 8f class locomotive 48305 has been summoned to assist. Meanwhile Jinty 47298 has been requested as a banker , perhaps 🤔, watch to the end and enjoy sights and sounds of days gone by.

Thank you so much everyone for the comments , views, shares etc. The 8f incurred injector problems and was taken off at Ramsbottom, seen here returning light engine. The staff @eastlancsrly did an amazing job and 90 minutes later it was back in service .

It was an amazing sight and sound , 30 vehicles , just over 400 tons . Longest freight ever done by elr
