The game was animated for 120BPM (at 60fps) and dynamically modified thereafter. Key poses hit on the beat (dark boxes in image).

I don't understand. Did you have access to the code, or did you recreate the animations and VFX from scratch?

woahhhhh, seamless transition between BPMs??? that isn't currently available in the game (although it would open up a ton of possibilities if done)

I didn't realize it was an unreal game, damn would have been nice to see HDR on something styled like this.

I don't think that's how you play guitar. Then again I can't play it myself so I may be wrong

I’ve often wondered how one could bring musical rhythm into gameplay like this. So much potential here.
