The rosters are going down to 34 man rosters. You will be needing 2-4 guys who can eat up an inning or two and be able to produce in the field and at the plate. Those numbers may be even higher than that. Years ago when a college told you- you can two way, it typically meant we are brining you in, youll have a short leash and your most likely going to be a PO. Now it’s a legit thing. Schools will need much more versatility- If you can pitch and hit AND play multiple spots on the field. Your stock will rise this year and years beyond. It’s just a matter of can you develop both and do both safely with the load on the arm. Bobcats open on the 13th at home!!! #slammarcos #baseball #twowayplayer #beisbol #pitcher

COITUS - Cancelled. To most it’s just an event. To me it was way more. You only have to look at WICKED, REMIX, KINKY. To see the dedication. I believed in it so much. The more people said it wouldn’t work, the more determined I was. But it’s just not going to plan. At this rate we would only get to 70/80% of what was planned. Not to sound ungrateful, but it’s not about just taking people money and giving them whatever will be. Due to the amount of work involved & all the others events/ renovations we have going on I just don’t have the strength to see it through. Thank you to those that did believe in it & those of you that help promote it. “COITUS” by name. Will be the 4th event. Someday. It just won’t be anything like what is was planned to be… Recently things haven’t been the best, It’s hard when you ask yourself “Why” everyday. For now I just need to concentrate on what we have. But I know I’ll find “it” again & it will work. Xx

🎮 Game submissions for the #vibejam can now we browsed at It syncs the game entrants and also their analytics, so you can sort by [ Most played ] There's about 74 entrants now, but most games will be submitted in the final week which it projects will be over 1,000+ but we'll see! This was the idea last year to do to with the Vibe Jam but back then I didn't have AI to make it this easy, and also I didn't ask for screenshots of the games which now we do, I'll now add a similar gallery to the old 2025 page

We just released a new marketing site and I wanted to talk through some of the changes that we made and why. Design thinking is the other side of the feed, it's usually more nuanced than the flashier parts and typically doesn't hold up as well to a quick scroll. Doesn't bode well for this thread! But, this will be my attempt to talk through the changes made and why. First up, this is our new hero. At Loops.so, our goal right now is to be the only platform you need to email your users The H1 matches that intention and the subheader reinforces it. We also wanted it to be clear we ship fast and often, so we added a pill showing the latest featured changelog. Agents are part of how people build software today, so we wanted to give that the second most important placement on the page, right after signup. Finally, the logo strip should not distract too much, but it should still help people understand these are users, not just logos. So we added the date of first payment from Stripe next to each logo. Next up, more things!

It won't happen as quick as we want, but Chainlink will be a huge part of the world's onchain financial system. It's comical you can pick up $LINK around $10B mc right now considering the role it will play. From a speculative and visibility standpoint, I'm not sure what other crypto has more to gain when all this starts to really cook. When the utility kicks in that's a whole other level. Now we wait.

Part of the reason IT people are being laid off is that many of their abilities can be replaced by AI. In the past, the joke was that you would just google it, but that still required some IT knowledge. Now, you can ask AI how to fix an issue and it will walk you through how to fix most things. (if you have admin permissions to your computer) To be fair, no one knows all the weird nuances and issues that can arise with software so google has always been used to find IT fixes - but it took more research and knowing how to implement the fix before.

Universities and High Schools have not moved rapidly enough to guide students to have skills for the next decade. THEY HAVE FAILED. It is a massive crisis that can be averted by understanding what AI and Robotics will bring about. Solutions are knowing how to use these tools and new industries that will rise. But this situation is also on ALL OF US. No “job” is safe from founder to entry level in most industries. You and I, by what we do, will be “replaced” ultimately. What to do? AI and Robotics are tools, the next decade is owned by those who know how to use them expertly, but this is also temporary. We have to understand that what we do for “work” will change giving ultimately a greater value to those that are: Creative Flexible Always learning Willing to be wrong Love being human Love being alive Know history Covet wisdom Knowing all tech has downsides Building strong family and friends Realize many institutions have failed The first four are required for you to be able to live through this period with your sanity intact. The rest will allow you to thrive. There are no true careers at this point anymore. There are advocation and vocations which will either earn you money or give life meaning. We will learn that we are not “what we do”, just like we knew for 99% of human existence. Let that sink in. — You and I are far, far ahead of knowing this and we can do two things: 1) Laugh at the “clueless” 2) Help people understand with grace Go to Reddit if you are 1, in fact don’t follow me because you will not like this next decade and what I post. You are 2 and thank you. Even if you and I have not solved this issue, we can help people understand what is ahead and with determination and creativity bound together to solve it locally. Or human family has done this millions of times. The evidence is: you are here. The Neo Luddite movement has not even begun and it will potentially rip apart society even more than all the fashionable moment in the recent past has. These Luddites will have a good point with the wrong answers cooked up by dying academics that cling to labels, “virtues” and victim hood. It will be readymade for some governments to enter in as “big daddy” to “help us”. You will not like what they do, but you will only know when it is too late. It will include YOU “volunteering” to “leave” by 60, to “help out” CanadaPod style. “Brian, I’m 24 what do I do?”. I hope to do much more here to help. But I do know this: 1) Learn a trade or vocation because it’s valuable. It may also be free to low cost if you do it right. 2) Learn everything you can about USING AI and TRAINING YOUR AI. Your expertise will be in the top 1% for a decade. But not forever. 3) Understand Bitcoin and how it will rise while other things sink. This is a short list for now. We will know more moving forward. When you see videos like this posted below, know one thing: Many of these folks had no real family of mental and physical support. Maybe no parent or one parent. Maybe only a broke system to prepare them for—nothing. This was not their doing. Now it is not your “job” to help them, it is your survival to help them if that is what you need. See some day after the dust settles these 20 year olds will be 40 year olds and running YOUR world. And at some point you may need them more than you think you do. You will need them, as they need you now. THIS IS WHAT PAST WISDOM KNEW. The elders of the past never found the need to piss on the youth and hope for the best. THE YOUTH ARE OUR BEST, let us all find ways to change it, even if every aspect of “the system” wants us to berate them into the ground.

A Russian Iskander targeted what Ukrainians claim is a humanitarian aid convoy in the Chernihiv region while the Russian MOD claimed they targeted a UAV launch position. It makes no sense for there to be a humanitarian aid convoy to be on a small dirt road in middle of a field in Chernihiv but it still could be one. It is not known if the people in photo are first responders or the people targeted. Will update if more information come out.

Disappointments surround us from all sides. We feel broken.. But we will definitely come back from under the rubble.. We in the north Gaza cling to the land like the roots of trees clinging to the soil. There is no wind that can uproot people who want to remain in their place. We are not just numbers.... We have a case. But there is no justice in this world.. My friends and loved ones.. Based on your advice, I decided to buy cat food and not wait. But I decided not to buy for a very long time for fear of wasting money. I also want to buy now so that I do not feel regret if a ceasefire occurs. Everyone knows that we have to buy from the black market, and unfortunately the prices are very ridiculous. So I will buy enough to last 3 months.. I will try to do my best to find food for cats, but if I cannot, the alternative option will be to use canned human food... I already have enough cat food to last until the end of December. But I want to buy it now because canned meat is available now.. I also mix bread with cat food to make it last longer...as shown in the video below I had a beautiful shelter before the war.. it was completely destroyed.. It had more than 60 cats. There are now about 25 cats left, and there are some cats nearby who find love and food, so they come to eat with the cats in the shelter.
