, keeping in mind I have limited understanding of how our political system works thanks to our school system but will People First have a candidate in every electorate at the next election and will you be able to form government without some form of alliance with another party ? The ramming through of bills as has just happened is unconstitutional as due process wasnt followed in that the public wernt given adequate time to respond, their responses wernt considered and the senate wasnt given a fair and reasonable time to assess the bills and responses. Therefore the bills should be ruled invalid through the high court. How can this be done?

Every single Govt entity in this economic zone is corrupt to the core, yes that is correct Australia should not be considered a country because it does not severe the interests of its citizens. There is not a single benefit of holding Aus Citizenship (those who rely on the govt for welfare/support are the only people calling Australia the lucky country).

While I’m happy to report that they all appreciated going over the mechanics and agreed with the need to cut the deficit to about ​3% of GDP, they are now in the middle of their debt limit and budget fights which need to be resolved before they can undertake discussions about how to hit that target. Interestingly, there was some openness to having people make the 3% pledge and even setting up a bipartisan commission to figure out how to achieve it. Happy New Year. I hope everyone had a restful break. We have a busy year ahead with a Federal Election to be called in the next few months. If you want to help out please register your support at as we need to get our country back on track. The key point of difference between and the other parties is we are a party of solutions and will always put the people first. The economic policies of the last four decades has left many Australians homeless or struggling with debt. As reported via the link below, Census data shows from 2000 to 2020, the number of Australians aged 55 to 64 who owned their homes outright has plummeted from 64 per cent to 36 per cent. This is completely unacceptable and has occurred because politicians and the RBA have completely mismanaged monetary policy. First of all by lifting capital controls, and then making the RBA independent. You can’t fix productivity problems by manipulating the price of money. Just like we need to stop immigrants from flooding the country, we need to stop foreign capital -debt or equity from owning or controlling our assets. We also need to stop giving tax breaks to foreign investors which makes it impossible for Australian businesses to be profitable. The two major parties won’t deal these issues and even if they would, don’t understand enough about capital management and the tax act to actually solve the problem. I want to follow up on yesterday’s rate rise to explain why monetary policy isn’t working for us in this country. A few months back Albanese introduced a scheme for first home buyers where he would underwrite a portion of their loan to buy a home all in the name of helping them. This means people could pay more for a house than they could otherwise afford. With the RBA increasing rates yesterday this is going to put some people with a mortgage under pressure to make loan repayments to cover their interest. This demonstrates how the difference levers of monetary policy isn’t working. On the one hand you have the government easing macro prudential controls and on the other hand you have the RBA tightening Qualitative controls. There are three levers to control monetary policy - qualitative controls, ie changing interest rates, macro prudential controls which set lending standards and quantitative controls which controls the volume of credit in the system. The RBA handles macro prudential controls, APRA controls lending regulations and the government has outsourced quantitative easing to foreign banks. People First propose to consolidate all three levers into Treasury under the direction of the Executive, not unelected bureaucrats so they they can be better coordinated. We also intend to tighten macro prudential controls and take back control of quantitative controls via our infrastructure bank which will increase supply of essential services to lower inflation rather than manipulate the price of money which only helps speculators. People First is the only party that actually understands monetary policy and has the solutions to make our financial system work for us, not against us. Yesterday Fair Work lifted the minimum wage by up to 6%. This is obviously very hard on small business but very much needed for people on a minimum wage. The national wage hike is a massive win for the Government, which collects 30% of the raise in new taxes. Workers get crumbs after inflation and business loses money unless they pass those losses onto consumers starting a deadly cycle of inflation. To stop this deadly cycle People First is advocating for a number of changes to fix the structural imbalances put in place by reckless governments over recent decades. These are: 1) Stop Government waste - in particular subsidies for renewables, gold plated bureaucrat pensions and NDIS profit gauging. This will fund income tax cuts and lower inflation. 2) Tax offshore profit shifting more so Australians pay less tax here. This will also level the playing field so that Australian businesses can compete with foreign multinationals and stimulate growth. 3) Create an Infrastructure Bank to fund Infrastructure that will provide another source of income for governments other than taxes. I want to explain in a nutshell why the US debt situation is at a very dangerous inflection point. Put simply, the US is now spending 40% more than we’re taking in. This accumulation of debt service payments has spiraled over decades and is starting to squeeze away buying power. And if you run the numbers, there’s an imbalance between how much debt has to be sold, who the buyers are, and the likelihood of it all being bought. Together, these two influences are why I worry about suffering an economic heart attack in the near future.

Not scared like he was in April when he saw yields spiking and stocks tanking which caused him to issue the 90 day pause… But today in Qatar, he was asked about the United States sovereign wealth fund. This was a big executive order he was excited about in February. Today? “Oh, yeah we will eventually invest in the fund, but you know we have a ton of debt…we should probably focus on paying off the debt first.” Trump knows this bond yields spiking up is horrible for refinancing debt. How do we reduce yields and get people to buy bonds? - We need to reduce SLR restrictions and allow banks to start buying more treasuries. - Powell needs to cut rates. The markets are recovering nicely on accelerated AI investments & lower tariff volatility, but we need to get yields down to sustain this momentum going into the rest of the year…

Yesterday’s increase in Interest rates is not going to do anything to fix the underlying structural imbalances in our economy. It is not going to help build one oil refinery or find a new discovery oil. The reason we have persistent inflation in Australia is because our government is running high immigration, high spending programs alongside chronic underinvestment in infrastructure and manufacturing after decades of privatisation. It is completely absurd that the Australian people are now going to be punished with higher interest rates alongside higher fuel costs. The higher fuel costs is in-itself going to dampen demand by increasing the cost of living so why pour fuel on the fire by increasing the cost of living even more. We are in this mess because of government spending not because Australians are spending too much just to survive. Manipulating interest rates is only dealing with the symptom not the cause. Notwithstanding we can’t solve inflation in the next 30 days, Australia needs to start building more infrastructure and factories and training our children the trades needed to do it. This will increase the supply of essential goods to bring inflation down. People First is the only party with the policies that will do this. We give the FBI a brand new $200 million headquarters. You can't even make this stuff up. We give more power to the intelligence community to spy on Americans. Any action in Venezuela will be bloody. Venezuela has more than two dozen generals and colonels imprisoned, along with another 150 officers. All of this results from failed uprising attempts and coups. Although Maduro may face immense difficulties in unifying his army to fight for him, there is certainly still a loyal faction, and this faction was predominant in other coup attempts. The situation of the army has been deteriorating, but the military also does not feel confident in the opposition that has tried several coups, all of which failed. Venezuela has become a very poor country, but in the last year, a bonus was given to military personnel and retirees in an attempt to unify the troops—an even more challenging task. For weeks, the United States has been intimidating Venezuela and bringing an arsenal to the region. However, Maduro remains in power, which leads us to believe that negotiations to open dissidence and internal uprising are failing. Perhaps they are failing at the scale the Americans need because anyone familiar with the Venezuelan scenario knows that any American military action will be supported by internal military dissent and opposition militias. Venezuela has started arming its popular militias, which, according to the government, number over 4 million(hard to believe). I doubt there are weapons for all these people, but if just 2% of that is real and armed, more than 80,000 Venezuelans are joining forces loyal to the government. It doesn’t matter how many ships the U.S. has or how many missiles they might fire. Who will be responsible for this bloodbath on the ground? The Venezuelan army has intensified training in recent weeks and will continue to do so, even though it is disorganized and poorly trained. No one benefits from a civil war in Venezuela. What would be the other card to play?
