FYI i use ALL of these tools, or a better variant, at work (with the exception of the SK2 just bc i don’t do professional wifi stuff). i’ve used them all personally & can heartily recommend them. the cheapest stuff is fine to get on amazon; the more expensive is not!

also, keep in mind this is obviously not an exhaustive list, YMMV, many of yall don’t work with layer 1 stuff as much as i do, etc etc. SO tell me what your fav tools are!!

This list seems incomplete, no mention of scotch tape for cable organization.

How did I not know the cable extractor pliers existed? ... and ordered.

@weems Thanks, I had no idea that connector inserter/extractor was a thing

I had no idea they had those pliers to save your fingers. They also started putting auto pair switching in network adapters, I think you can do it in software, not too sure but is really cool implementation.

The Net Analyzer is a bit pricey unless you have a lot of buildings to manage across the enterprise. A cheap alternative if you only need it for occasional anaylsis is to buy a Ubiquiti Nano for $99. Has a built-in analyzer so you can see everything in the spectrum.
