please note: we consider this private mainnet a research prototype and will roll out access over the next few weeks. we are launching this as an experiment // live example of bitcoin-denominated payments using zkps.

Privacy so good that the network's name have been ZKP'd.

Wow! Where can i learn more?

i gotchu

@_colourorange Love seeing it live and working!!

hell yeah, bitcoin payments getting less nosy rules

How does it work?

it's a fork of payy that we deployed on citrea with some slight changes. so essentially an "appchain" with a single validator + prover. we're making contracts immutable before providing public access we do have a version that could be considered a bitcoin sidechain ( our original plan was to do a stake-weighted peg, like nomic, but now we're focusing on some other primitives

we already have unified Payment stack by @utexocom powered by Bitcoin native and Lightning with the client side validation through RGB Protocol Layer privacy by default

@utexocom congrats!

@utexocom Thanks buddy You are also working on something unique on your level Looking forwad to 👌 ZK Proofs 🔔

Nice, followed

hi

gm

is the backing asset citreaBTC?

yes

congrats on shipping, btc plus zk privacy is a good direction

Would love to play with this!

i'll dm you!

👀

wanna test??

How does it work?

🔥🔥🔥

Congrats!

Are those satoshis or bitcoin?

Yeah well. Denominating in ₿ ……….. 😂

I will love to learn about this

Can I test it?

A great bio rewrite for lx : "Send Bitcoin, Only you and the recipient know it happened" Or "Bitcoin transactions that leaves no trace. Built for the world that needs financial privacy"

@coinjoined 👀

Can one also sent sats over that network? :)

This is really cool!

what proving system are you using

This is cashu wallet no? @CashuBTC

@CashuBTC no, it is not cashu it is an entirely different thing

@CashuBTC The UI is the same, the features seem the same, no?

@CashuBTC yes, it is a very similar UX to cashu and fedimint payments just a different underlying tech stack with tradeoffs

@CashuBTC Explain @arkade_os ?

sure thing. it's a sidechain with a bridge to another bitcoin sidechain. sounds weird, so i'll explain why we did that: we have a version of the codebase that could be deployed as a liquid-esque sidechain. big multisig holds bitcoin which back private notes and operates the network. users deposit bitcoin, federation secures it. easy enough and simple to explain but, we are a small company and don't really have the resources to build a distributed federation so, instead of spending time and money on building a big multisig, we decided to deploy a smart contract on another sidechain as the bridge/peg. this smart contract releases withdrawals after verifying a validity proof. so, this bridge to the sidechain is secured by cryptography alone, and the sidechain (citrea) we "roll up to" has their own bridge based on bitvm with its own federation the key difference from ecash mints is that no operator involved in our network can steal funds. but, we rely on the clementine bridge federation (and their security council) to be honest the key difference from other sidechains, as mentioned, is that we don't run our own bitcoin multisig federation so we went with this route

Built with @NoirLang . Great to see it. @aztecnetwork coded.

So lightning network that has a sane design and is not 18 months away from being production ready?

Cool, I’d like to check it out.
