For those who want all pinned apps to show by default instead of having to expand, the option to do so is a thing in Start menu settings. Turning off "Show recently added apps" will now hide recommendations.

To try out this revamped Start menu experience, enable feature ID 49402389. If you don't already have them, you'll need the new All apps layouts enabled too (IDs are 49221331,47205210), and as with every other new Insider feature, 48433719 if the above doesn't work.

Silly error: To turn off the recommended section, you actually have to turn off all of the recommended toggles (recently added apps, recommended files in Start which does sadly also disable it in FE, websites, tips/new apps and more).

Cursor now has a built-in web browser. You can say "start my app" and it will run the dev server in a terminal and then navigate the browser to localhost:3000. It can take screenshots of the page for iterating on design, and you can send DOM elements to the agent with prompts!

Microsoft still can’t decide what Copilot should be on Windows 11. Microsoft is testing a new Copilot docking experience, and it feels like Microsoft is quietly going back to the original sidebar idea. Copilot still opens as an app by default, but there’s now a new title bar menu with custom snapping options. You can keep it as a normal app, use picture-in-picture, or dock Copilot to the left or right side of the desktop. When docked, Windows 11 resizes your workspace around Copilot. Your apps move aside, File Explorer adjusts, and Copilot stays pinned to the edge instead of floating like a separate window.

Greatly expanded the lighting system, which was originally going to be only used as a gimmick during Kokoro's fight. Also, the game runs perfectly (on low settings) on a crappy old 180 dollar laptop which can barely even run Windows, so I'm happy with the performance.

A new Beta is about to open up. It looks to be a "Sea of Thieves" but in a vast, sandy desert with "Tramplers" being your base and mode of transportation. I think it looks like a really neat idea and setting. You can request access to the beta on the steam store - SAND

✨ Breakthrough on the $200 Windows laptop The plane game was stuck at 3 FPS, now it finally passed 60 FPS! s13k added a list of toggle flags so I can disable/enable features and test This has most disabled so now I need to slowly enable each flag and see which is most detrimental to the FPS and rewrite those parts!
