2d model of a Rubik’s cube

I can tell you for sure this does not work. This video is being played in reverse. They're starting out from a solved cube.

It is a lie.

I think I might actually be able to finish one of these now 😅😆

Every time you turn any side over 3 consecutive times you return to the original position and start over. Also turning over 2 times in one direction is wasteful, for you can instead move 1 time in the opposite direction. This video is made backwards just to get clicks and views.

turn 10 times? it repeats every 4th. It's modulus 4. 3 turns max is all you need.

Why you rotate more than 3 times,

I am beyond furious that any single rotation involves more than 2 turns. Five turns to the right? No, that's one turn to the right. Eight turns up? No, that's literally the exact same as the starting position, TWICE. Three turns up? NO, one turn down. WTF.

Why would you rotate the same plane 10 times if the same can be done in 2, similarly with the others, the 5 in 1. Funnily the 8 gets you back to where you started.
