I think you missed the point as much as I too dislike billionaire companies, they are less the responsible since we now deflect and divide ourselves thanks to the freedom flowing of information. This “prediction” was refereing to by the Ascending Colonel, an AI powered surveillance state both digital and real-time. Basically digital communism as the fall of freedom and democracy would likely come. We are already seeing this starting to happen in the UK and there is a high likely chance it is coming to the USA anyway with the rise of data centers. This wasn’t necessarily predicted by Kojima, but interpreted by something someone wrote and predicted in a book in the 1970s.
