Currently, high school students can get AP credits in subjects like Biology, Calculus, and even Art classes. But for some reason, we don't elevate Shop Class to that same level — even though it's where you strengthen hands-on skills foundational to a career in the trades. Students should get dual enrollment credits in those classes, and I'm working to make that a reality.

When the political left abandoned the working class, they had to ask themselves, “What is it that we do now?” They transitioned to representing the intelligentsia, the metropolitan elites, the professional classes. And they became the ones to protect trans people, refugees, and the most vulnerable. In fact, they had to actively create that category of minorities in order to continue legitimizing their political perspective — which had become redundant once they accepted that they no longer cared about working-class people. I would argue that our political models can no longer be borne of a response to industrialization, i.e., capitalism. What we need are political systems that respond to our new technology, which is why I always return to decentralization!

American High School teacher left being a teacher and she has a warning for America She exposes the school boards are making teachers pass students just to keep their graduation numbers up “Now that I am no longer a teacher, I can finally say the things that have been on my mind all school year. As somebody that taught high school and basically educating our new young adults, we should all be scared. UNBELIEVABLE - OUR YOUNG CANNOT READ CURSIVE - Really - This is almost unbelievable. BUT - Then they may not be able to read type written words either - We keep reading articles that say students can't read - How do they expect to succeed in life? What has the Teacher's unions and "woke" teachers done to our children - They have concentrated on things that only cause our children to have a need to protest and other things that make no difference in this world. It's true - too many times students can't read or write when they graduate high school - First of all - I want to know how they graduated and have learned nothing about anything that will help them succeed in life.
