High school graduation day at the Reds Player Development Complex. My first time attending and it is truly awesome. Vast majority of the Reds 40-man was probably out there watching along with almost every staffer imaginable, if not all.

Chaos erupted after the Benjamin E. Mays High School graduation on Georgia Tech’s campus Thursday as a massive fight broke out during what should have been a proud celebration. Videos of the brawl are now spreading across social media, showing disorder unfolding in front of students, families, and staff. Moments meant to honor achievement and hard work should never turn into scenes like this. What should have been remembered as a milestone is now making headlines for all the wrong reasons. My daughter's majority white high school's graduation the day before yesterday was peaceful. It is a public high school...with a large graduating class, it was also held on a college campus. They started it off with the National Anthem and a prayer. ZERO fights broke out. There was no twerking... whatsoever. No back flips or gettin jiggy wid it. It was nice and peaceful ....as it should be.

As the Patrick Kane signing as sunk in more as the day has gone on, I keep thinking of him watching the tribute video his first game back in Chicago with Detroit. He was going through it and it was written all over his face. Typically you get the smile and wave, maybe wipe a tear, but he was torn up. He snapped out of it after the first lap when he finally just took it all in. Truly believe if it was always up to him, he would've never left. Rebuild and all. Patrick Kane is Chicago, man. I need to hire someone whose only job is to sit next to me and rip my phone out of my hands when it’s time to stop. I just can’t stop. Watching the recording back, it’s painfully obvious I should’ve walked away at $40,000 and called it a day. If I had been able to stop at the right moment every single time, I’d probably be in massive profit instead of giving it all back. Help me.
