Highlight of the trip so far. Obi Wan Marshall has been talking about using a classic Star Wars quote on Kylo Ren for three months, after being too intimidated on day one he had his moment yesterday.

"Elmore Leonard meets Nabokov, Michael Crichton meets Vonnegut, Carl Hiaasen meets Joseph Heller. And it has what is probably the best gunfight in literary history."

This scene from the Obi-Wan Kenobi series where a former 501st Clone Trooper begs Obi-Wan on a street for a few credits is honestly one of the most heartbreaking scenes from any recent Star Wars project. The fact that Obi-Wan still gave him credits just shows that The Jedi genuinely cared about The Clones more than Palpatine ever did. Deeply sad to watch.

This moment from Star Wars: Resistance where Kylo Ren uses The Force to make Commander Pyre and Agent Tierny draw their blasters on each other has always been incredibly memorable to me. Brilliantly showcases a rare instance where Kylo Ren actually feels both extremely intimidating and immensely powerful to those within the First Order. Wish more people talked about this show, as it gives some incredible development for the Sequel Era. Such an underrated series.

For the past three months, Yusuke Furusawa has been demonstrating on the streets of Tokyo for a ceasefire in Gaza. Although he is alone, the activist mobilizes almost every day with his banner.

Obi-Wan and Asajj Ventress’ lightsaber duel with Darth Maul and Savage Opress seriously has to be one of the most overlooked lightsaber duels to come from any Star Wars project. So much history between all of these characters quite literally converging in the most claustrophobic space imaginable. Such an amazing finale for Season 4 of The Clone Wars. Also really love how they all are using red lightsabers for a brief moment!

In the early hours of April 18, 2019, 28 year old Aron Kato vanished after being abducted on the streets of Ilford, East London. He had been part of a gang responsible for a spate of armed robberies on other rival gangs. CCTV footage showed him being chased and forced into a car. Since that moment, he has never been seen again. Despite multiple arrests and public appeals, no one has been charged. Now his friends are making drill music about him.

One of the smartest details from the Revenge of the Sith novelisation is how Obi-Wan and Anakin deceive Count Dooku. Knowing they had failed on Geonosis, they open the duel with basic attacks from Ataru and Shien, forms that Dooku’s Makashi easily dismantles. This convinces Dooku that he’s facing the same Jedi he defeated three years earlier. Then they switch. Obi-Wan returns to his impenetrable Soresu, while Anakin unleashes the refined Djem So he mastered during the Clone Wars. Dooku suddenly realizes the opening exchange was a ruse and that Anakin had surpassed power levels he thought were possible.

#WATCH | Kanpur (rural), Delhi | On alleged gang-rape of a minor girl on a sleeper bus, the wife of the arrested accused bus driver Kuldeep says, "... About two or three months ago, my father-in-law was murdered, so he stayed here for a month then. After that, he drove the vehicle for ten or fifteen days, then stayed home again. He left for work just the other day after spending a week at home. He left on Monday, and the incident happened on Tuesday... I found out this morning... He has been driving for ten or fifteen years... We have grown children... There has never been any trouble. He lives peacefully at home, too... He is being falsely implicated... My demand to the government is this: we have grown children, a sixteen-year-old daughter and an eleven-year-old son, and he wouldn't do something wrong... He always calls two to three times a day whenever he is in Delhi for work..."

The Chosen One still hasn't lost his lightsaber skills after 20 years. ⚔️ Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen reunited on stage at Fan Expo Chicago, giving Star Wars fans another unforgettable moment as they playfully showed off their lightsaber skills together. Lil’ Wayne is one of the most iconic and influential rappers ever, a legend, and at his peak, he had one of the most dominant runs any rapper has ever had. But he also has A LOT of TERRIBLE music in his catalog. I’d argue that he’s been terrible for far longer than he was great. A lot of his music has aged horribly. And even at his peak, he wasn’t really rapping about shit. A very small percentage of his catalog has substance. Far too much of his catalog was him doing THIS⬇️

Derek has had a good day. He has some great relief from all the fluids being drained. He slept for 14 hours and is on a lot of medication. Looking at a trip to the mainland Monday or Tuesday to get his heart checked out ❤️
