Are there no customs check in India anymore? I once ordered a VOIP phone from the US, i had to run from pillar to post in Mumbai to clear the customs for it, paid fee and bribe both to get it.

Something doesn't add up sir. If I send $100 (6000 rupees) worth of gifts for family, the customs don't release it till they are paid 7000 as duty. So if stuff is coming from Thailand and Africa, the conduits are the customs department who are letting the consignment go without checking

Just bcz Kerala reports more drug seizures doesn’t mean it’s the most dangerous. For me shows system is working—more vigilance, better enforcement. Many states underreport or ignore it. I can show more drugs in 10 sqkm of Banglor alone. I dont want to talk about DEL, MUM or PUNJ
