I knew a girl launched off a banana boat in the Pacific off the coast of Ecuador She was knocked unconscious, and if it wasn't for her cousin, she would have drown Another girl on the ride who she didn't know had her lower jaw torn off Not too funny

Seems intentional or the driver doesn’t know what he’s doing. Obviously going too fast for those waves.

My first, and last, time going water skiing with my dad was awful. I finally got on my feet, and this mfer gave the throttle all it had and started swerving back and forth. I launched off of a wave and ate it hard. He thought it was pretty damn funny. So I get up again, and he does the same damn thing. Again, he picks me up, laughing his ass off. I didn't want to go back on the skis after that. So I get on tube thinking it will be different. Nope. My dad still did his best to throw me off and try to drown me. I hate innertubes and water skiing to this day.

The people who say they’d never do this, are missing out. This shit is absolutely awesome.

You can drown pretty easily doing this. All it takes is a life vest that doesn’t hold your head out of the water and a moment of unconsciousness.

Yeah because head injuries are so fun. Absolutely hilarious. Sorry to be such a Nancy about things but there is fun and there is being stupid. The driver of these boats are being stupid and putting younglings at risk for clicks, likes and emotional validation.

Some people should not be driving boats.

Low IQ's, alcohol, and speed don't mix. Many years ago going half as fast doing half of the dumbfu&&ery I broke 3 ribs on a tube colliding with a friend who broke 4 ribs. So dangerous when getting too crazy.

Hilarious. I have a similar story about a couple girls who were on the tube back in college. Caught a wave to lift the nose, huge Oklahoma wind launched them skyward like a F-15 going vertical. They must’ve gone like 50-60 feet up before separating from the tube & took what seemed like an hour to splat on the water. Thought we’d killed them..

The whole point of tubing is to fly them off the tube.

Tubing at those speeds is reckless! I lost a precious friend that way. The boat captain was charged with vehicular homicide!

My family went on a camping trip with a motorcycle club from Tucson AZ to Elephant Butte lake in NM I got there on the back of a Harley and went home laying on the back of a pickup truck because I went tubing and flipped and broke 5 ribs. Mainly the ones up high from the underwire in my bathing suit. Lucky I didn’t brake my neck as I flipped and rolled before I landed. This is a very dangerous sport. It is fun but the driver needs to be responsible!

I would beat the bat shit out of any dumb ass driver that did that to me or my family. Not funny living your life as a paraplegic.
