She had been talking to him for days; easy conversations, good vibes, nothing felt off. When they finally met, the date was exactly what you’d hope for: great dinner, respectful, attentive, a total gentleman. At the end of the night, they went their separate ways… until he called saying he lost his keys and couldn’t reach his roommate. Feeling bad, she invited him over. They talked for a while, everything still seemed normal. Eventually, she said goodnight and went to her room; but something in her gut told her to lock the door. Around 3 a.m., he knocked, asking for a phone charger. She told him there was one in the kitchen. Minutes later, he knocked again, insisting it didn’t work and asking if she had one inside. That’s when her instincts screamed something wasn’t right. Instead of opening the door, she quietly called the police. When officers arrived, she heard shouting… then silence. They told him to come out; he was being taken into custody. When she finally stepped out of her room, her stomach dropped. Parts of her apartment had been covered in plastic… and there were power tools laid out. Sometimes everything can *look* perfect on the surface, but intuition picks up on what logic can’t yet explain. That decision to lock the door, and to trust that uneasy feeling—may have saved her life. Not every situation is dangerous, but ignoring red flags can be. Have you ever had a gut feeling about someone that didn’t make sense at the time; but later proved you were right?

So, life update that worries me... Didn't sleep well last night. Was too worried if this drunk and drugged-up native was going to come back. My daughter took the garbage out and forgot to lock the door when she came inside. This guy showed up about 10 minutes later, and walked into my house. We were both just in our sleep shirts, relaxing, she in the living room and I was in ny bedroom working on an article Im posting shortly. I came scrambling out of my bedroom and found this guy plastered drunk standing in my kitchen. I immediately forced him out the door into the porch and closed the door behind me, putting myself between him and the door. He was so drunk he couldn't speak words, just mumbled. I calmly told him to get lost. He just smiled and stared at me with all his tear drop tattoos next to his eyes scrunching up. I told him again to leave. He stood there looking stupid. Finally I told him if he didnt leave I would call the cops, then I turned around, went inside, locked the door and retrieved my firearm. I had enough time to load ammo into a clip, get the trigger lock off my firearm and get back to the front of the house to find him sitting in the car still. I was waiting to see if he was leaving, or coming back. Because he gave off a vibe that he was willing to get violent for whatever he was pursuing. Just after Dave died, a white vehicle showed up and parked next door on the road at the abandoned property. A man came to my door and kept trying to get me to go to his vehicle to "look at something". Of course I didnt go with him, but it was enough to get me to hire an electrician to install the security cameras, especially after my kid's bow was stolen. I have 3 more cameras to go up still. But since Dave passed away I have to hire people to do these things and, well, its not cheap or easy and definitely hard to find someone with the time in their schedule to fit me in. I showed this video clip to a person I know here in town, who informed me this guy and his friend were revived multiple times over the weekend from fentanyl overdoses. All I know is the guy was so plastered if I lit a match while he talked he would have become a human mmolatov.i have no idea who drove him. As soon as the snow is gone, I will be fortifying my property like its a military compound so the next time one of these fuckers shows up word will spread real quick not to mess with "The Widow" as I've learned I am called in this town. Yes, I filed a police report and yes, I have passed on the footage to RCMP.

Had the most strange night in a LONG time. At midnight, my ring cameras go off at the shop with deputies all over the property... I have no idea what is happening, and it gets insane from there. Moral of the story? You cannot be kind to people any more. A former employee reached out a week ago and asked if his girlfriend (who is like a daughter to me) and his 2 year old daughter could stay with us for a few days. I told him we didn't have room at the house currently, BUT she was welcome to stay in my RV at my shop until we could find her a place. I would make sure she was safe, and taken care of. This young man has been like family since he was 13. I taught him to weld. I have given him vehicles, employed him multiple times, etc. Tried my best to talk him out of the stupid stuff he does. Just petty crimes, fighting, evading police, etc. I have tried for years to get him to just straighten up and be the man I know he could be. Day before yesterday, he tells me he has a warrant out for his arrest and I tell him he cannot stay there with her. I can't have him staying there and getting me involved with whatever shit he had going on. She is welcome to stay, but he can't be there. He lost his mind and called me all sorts of things as he stomped out. Well, last night he decided he was staying there regardless, and when she wouldn't unlock the door, he decided to put his fist through the glass. Drugs destroy people, man. This young man had so much potential and I have tried and tried to get him clean and get him to a good life... Now, we all suffer, and I have to get his girlfriend and little girl away from him before he kills them. Just insane.

“I was driving up 75, and saw the trooper in the turnout...checked my speed, oh I'm good. A few minutes later, I see a dog in the ditch by one of the signs for exit 20. She looked bad. I was in the left lane, heading to an appointment, and was torn. I decided I would go back southbound and risk a ticket by going to the turnout. I turned in and the trooper was still there! Yay! He rolled down his window and said "yep! I'm here" to which i told him about the dog and I didn't want a ticket, but if I could help that dog, it was fine by me. He just asked where the dog was and was on his way! I followed and we found her, still there, panting like she was fixing to die. That trooper dumped his jug out and fashioned a water bowl for her. Then poured a couple bottles of water. The dog was scared of him, but frozen in weakness. She sniffed the water, then realized this kindness was for her! She drank that water down in minutes! The trooper went and got her some more, plus a Little Debbie. She watched him warily the whole time. She sniffed his hand but was still wary. Next thing, he goes to his vehicle and gets a chair and an umbrella. He told me he will stay here until she trusts him, so he can get her to a shelter, or take her home. I believe his being there at the right time, was one of those little messages reminding us of the good in our world. Meet Trooper Tudors of the TN State Highway Patrol. One of the good guys for sure." Credit: Kaye Fiorello

Episode 7 — After the Yacht Kiss Tossing and turning, unable to sleep, Huiju keeps remembering her kiss with Wan. Driving herself crazy, she kicks at her blankets, making a chaotic mess. Huiju: (Mumbling to herself) It happens. We just got caught up in the moment. Besides, it’s not like I was the one who jumped him, right? She tries to rationalise it, but she knows all too well that this is different from the time by the wall, which hadn't affected her at all. Likewise, Wan is unable to sleep. He places his hand over his fiercely beating heart. He lets out a sudden laugh as he remembers Huiju who had leaned her face against it. Then, all of a sudden, he finds himself missing her. Both Huiju’s face and Huiju’s heart. Wan quietly opens his door, steps out, and heads toward the inner house (anchae: traditionally reserved for women). Huiju, who is still tearing her hair out in frustration, frowns as she senses someone outside her door. But soon follows the sound of a cleared throat, it's Wan. Thinking, 'What is it?', Huiju sits up and silently stares at his shadow. Wan: Seong Huiju. Hearing his cautious voice, Huiju hesitates for a moment. She feels that if she answers now, she'll get swept up in the moment again, just like on the yacht deck. Staring at the room from which no sound is heard, Wan reaches his hand toward the doorknob. But with a faint smile, he pulls his hand back and heads back to the reception quarters (sarangchae: traditionally used by men). Watching Wan's shadow fade away, Huiju feels confused by her wildly fluctuating emotions.

Frank Edoho’s voice call with Titi where he said Chike had a girlfriend called Precious. I met Chike and told him, if my wife was foolish enough to cheat on her husband, why would you encourage it?” According to Frank, Chike responded by asking, “Is that what she told you?” Frank said he replied that if his wife still meant as much to him as she did before all the drama started, he could have seriously harmed Chike and left him in a wheelchair. But instead, he begged him to leave his wife alone because they had two sons together and he still wanted to save his family. He revealed that Chike even sent him an apology text at some point, but despite that, the relationship allegedly continued. Frank said he still doesn’t understand what he did to deserve the situation. He also explained how he supported his ex-wife from the beginning. According to him, he sent her to school around 2010/2011, and when she returned and wanted to start working, he encouraged her to start a business instead. She reportedly mentioned skincare and interior decor, and he advised her to focus on interior decor. Frank claimed he helped her build the business from scratch, found her first carpenter, handled a lot of the setup, and even spent years learning interior design photography just to support her work. He said he dedicated his time, energy, and resources to helping her grow. According to him, problems started after she became more successful, and that was when the alleged affair with Chike began. He said no matter how much he begged her to leave Chike, she refused. Frank also revealed that at one point, he left the house and stayed in a hotel for three months. He claimed his wife later found him, cried, and begged him to return home, but only two weeks after he returned, things allegedly went back to how they were before. He added that while he was trying to move on emotionally, his ex-wife eventually saw him with another woman, became upset, and then filed for divorce. Frank ended by explaining that when people talk about the “malice” issue, they misunderstand the context. According to him, he wasn’t just keeping malice for no reason, but reacting to pain from someone he genuinely loved.

Wife asks Dr. John Delony if she’s asking too much by expecting her husband to attend social events with her. Caller: “Am I being too hard on my husband expecting him to attend social events? He works Monday through Friday, and by the weekend he’s completely zapped.” She has a demanding schedule too. “I’m a firefighter. I work 24 hour shifts. I still feel like it’s important that we show up for people as a family.” But when her husband doesn’t come, it bothers her. “When he doesn’t come, it feels embarrassing.” Then her husband explained his side. Husband: “I get maybe one to three days a month where I actually have some of my own time. Most weekends, she’s working at least one day.” And even when he attends the events, he doesn’t necessarily experience them as quality family time. “When we do go, I’m usually just chasing our four-year-old around the whole time.” He gave an example. “At the last wedding, there weren’t even enough seats or plates for the three of us. I told her I should’ve just stayed home with him so she could enjoy herself.” The hard truth: This probably isn’t really about whether he attends every event. She’s asking for partnership and shared social responsibility, while he’s asking for rest and meaningful time with his family. Neither need is automatically unreasonable. The solution is to stop treating attendance as proof of love and actually negotiate which events matter, when they go together, and when it’s okay for one spouse to go alone.
