Accepting the reality that he is no longer amongst us has been one of the hardest things for me to come to terms with. Every time I come across one of his speeches or videos, for a moment I forget, and it feels like nothing has changed. Then reality settles in again. I still catch myself listening to him the same way I always did. I don’t even know how to explain it. There’s something familiar about hearing his voice. Maybe that’s why it still doesn’t feel real to me. I guess some people become such a constant part of your life that your mind takes a long time to accept they’re gone. May Allah grant him the highest ranks and reunite him with those he loved. 🤲🏻🤍
