Probably the worst offense I saw was at NTC. A team leader lost his nods and during a gear inspection stole one of his guys nods, scratched of the serial number and then turned in his guy for not having his nods. His guy got smoked for hours while the battalion looked for the nods. Obviously the team leader got found out. Didn’t end well for him. Complete scumbag

When I worked supply at an Air Force base as a contractor OSI got involved a few times over troops pawning their equipment. Its not as rare as you think.
