@historyinmemes Most American thing I’ve heard in a while. If they are from the same area as I am, there’s a chance they will never know they met the queen. I’ve never been a huge fan of the Royals but I will say that the queen was definitely the best of them. May she rest in peace.

@historyinmemes I’ve heard this story before but I just absolutely adored hearing it again. The queen has ALWAYS reminded me so much of my grandmother, they were both just about the same age and passed around the same time, so it always brings a smile to my face to hear these stories 🥹
