I am pleased to announce that Odisha has received its due share in the Union Budget presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. Addressing the media, I expressed my gratitude for the budget, stating that the state’s demands, put forth during the pre-budget meeting, have been met. I must thank the Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for including Odisha’s demands in the budget. Odisha will now have ample job opportunities, reducing the need for our youth to migrate outside for work. The Finance Minister has focused on developing the tourism sector in Odisha, including our coastline, temples, heritage sites, and forests. Additionally, she has prioritized our farmers and the farm sector. I would also like to extend my gratitude to Shri Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
