The fact that he came back from 5–3, 40 Love and then ended the tiebreak 10–2 is still absolutely wild to me. Like outrageous behaviour 😭

Nerves of steel, I would just double fault even during a practice set on a similar scoreline

John McEnroe pointed out how Sinner's footwork puts him at a big disadvantage, especially on clay. Look at how he jumps to one side after hitting the ball while trying to generate more power. He immediately puts himself out of position to hit the next ball or makes an error by trying to go for too much. Give credit to Carlos Alcaraz for forcing Sinner to try to make those difficult shots. What a great comeback by Carlos. One for the ages!

And then to BREAK next game is absolute madness. As a Carlitos fan my heart rate was through the roof 🤦🏻‍♂️

Sinners biggest mistake was attacking Alcaraz forehand. Alcaraz has one of the best forehands ever. To beat Alcaraz you need to attack his backhand multiple times. That’s how Djokovic was able to beat him in the Olympics.
