Morale is something our troops need — and if a good meal while, they’re defending our freedom is going to put people in an uproar…maybe be pissed about the millions we spend on sugar loaded doughnuts for 5 year olds on school breakfast and lunch programs. When I was deployed, it wasn’t always Friday, but typically it was. If supplies were available, and cargo aircraft could safely deliver it, we got it. If it wasn’t — we didn’t. These aren’t prime cuts, they aren’t WAYGU…in fact, a McRib to extent seemed like better quality then what we got — but it was still a welcomed meal. God forbid we give our troops something to look forward too 🙄

No, the issue is spending $93 BILLION in the last month of the FY. $22 million to feed our service members nice meals, I fully support! Why did they feel the need to spend the remaining $92.978 BILLION in September? What did they buy that it was so urgent and could not wait dor the next FY? Why not return the taxpayer dollars?
