👀 Hmm this is interesting. AutoForm by Bennett. Just gave it a try. It works. Here's a quick demo:

@vantezzen The idea is so great, it’s so simple 🥹 Forms are so painful to create… Is it finally the way to make it all easier to create and easier to maintain? Can’t wait to have to create a form to give it a try!

@vantezzen Cool declarative approach, But what if I want to render something between the fields?

@vantezzen You can pass it JSX via startAdornment and endAdornment. Interesting...

@vantezzen This is awesome, we were actually working on exactly the same thing under exactly the same name "AutoForm" for our UI library a few weeks ago and depriotitized it halfway through. Super awesome to see this, gonna save so much time 🔥🔥

Great to see the interest in this! I definitely want to expand the feature set (like sub-objects that will automatically turn into sections). But as others have wrote: This is mainly for simpler forms not something where you need tons of custom elements but want to iterate quick

@vantezzen The only problem I see is when things start to get dynamically updated. Other than that I quite like the API and would definitely use for quick start anything

@theWladPaiva @vantezzen Yeah. Could be helpful for simple forms though.

@vantezzen Nice. This could be really useful building simple line of business applications.

@vantezzen That’s clean.
