my two favorite people saying the same thing “just give it a try” 🥹 🦌: the most important thing is to just give it a try. i think the idea of taking that first step is one of the most important things in life 🦮: moments when we have to make big decisions can be scary, and i think that's completely normal. but the fact that something feels scary also means it’s a very important opportunity. that’s why i think it’s important to really think about what you want and then just give it a try. because if you don’t try, you’ll definitely regret it later on

This afternoon I watched a video where a girl shared her impression after seeing some clips of LingOrm. (She’s not a fan, and I don’t even remember the account that posted that video 🥲) She said that when she watched LingOrm’s videos, they felt really sweet, but it wasn’t the same kind of sweetness u see with other couples. The sweetness in LingOrm’s videos comes from the real affection they show each other, and we’re just the ones witnessing it. The point is…they’re not being sweet for us to see, we just naturally feel that sweetness when they’re giving it to each other. And of course, I totally agree with that 😙

Everybody outside yelling “NO KINGS”… and I actually agree. But let’s stop acting like “kings” only exist when it’s convenient. Because not too long ago, people were told: Take this… or lose your job. Take this… or you can’t work, travel, or even eat in certain places. That wasn’t a suggestion… that was pressure. And somehow… that didn’t count as “king behavior”? 🐰 I have a friend, and he’s just a regular office worker. When I look at that, I think it’s really impressive. That friend always says to me, “Ah… Seonghwa, it must be really hard for you.” And I tell him, “The work you do yourself always feels the hardest. Rather than comparing or analyzing, it’s just that what you do feels the hardest. So let’s just be thankful for the days we can meet like this.” As I get older, I have friends from Jinju that I’ve been with for 12 years. No - 11 years. We all went to different schools, but somehow we’ve stayed close until now. Our group chat is called “Animal Crossing”, and up until about three years ago, we met often. Until just three years ago… what was it…? We would at least meet once during the holidays, but in these past three years, there’s always been one or two people who couldn’t make it, or sometimes I couldn’t make it. It’s gotten harder and harder to gather. So now we say, “Well, at least it’s lucky if we can see each other at someone’s wedding.” Because I travel abroad often, I might not be able to go, and since there are friends in Jinju too, when they get married, they’ll live there, right? When I think about that, I realize, “Ah, I might not be able to go.” So it’s a bit sad, but it also means that each of us is settling into our own place in life. Someday… That’s why I like a certain line from a drama: “When we meet again, let’s finish the conversations we couldn’t finish.” I really liked that line. And now each of our lives is different. For me, I now have my members, and for my friends, they’ve probably found someone even closer to them.
