These two guys were on their way to their fishing spot. They came to a stop sign at the same time as this bicyclist and blew through his stop sign and didn’t stop. When the men passed him they yelled at him for not stopping. So this guy followed them to their fishing spot. The two men exchange pleasantries and the guy on the bike tells them he never stops and they shouldn’t be yelling at him or anyone. The one man tells him he is just like everyone else and he has to obey the traffic laws. At one point the guy on the bike tells the two men he can take them both in a fight. The one man walks off to go fishing. 😳 The guy on the bike does not have the right of way. Bicyclists are like automobiles and must follow all traffic laws. Biker fatigue is real. 💯 So who do you side with? Who is the real moron? 🤔

We’ve had team captains and guys on defense and offense go down, but he’s continued to keep the ship afloat. Not only that, but do it at a high level. Three years ago the Alabama Baseball program was in a totally different spot than they are right now, in Omaha for the College World Series. Former interim head coach, Jason Jackson, is now the associate head coach. Coach Rob Vaughn did not have a previous relationship with “JJ” yet still kept Jackson on the Alabama Baseball coaching staff. Vaughn thoroughly described Jackson’s impact: “[Jackson] trusted me in a time where that guy didn’t have to do that. He had some people calling to hire him that summer. He had just led the team through a great thing, there were some big time pitching coach jobs that were open wanting to talk to him and he chose Alabama.”

My Grandpa, Tom Caflisch coached as a Special Teams Coach for 21 years Falcon Football. Many years ago, he told me about this new coach coming to town, @CoachWalkerRF was the new head coach, he said “He’s the guy that’s gonna turn around River Falls Football.” He echoed it year after year when I’d visit because he saw what was happening daily. When I got into college coaching as a GA at MSU, he set up a meeting with Coach Walker, “You have to meet this guy.” We sat down for Lunch on a weekday at Bo’s and Mine and talked ball for an hour and a half about the Crush front and Pop passes, along with other things. After, Grandpa C goes I have no idea what you guys were talking about but that was awesome. 🤣😂 Fast Forward to my grandpa getting sick. Not only did Coach visit him, he sent Freddy the Falcon (The Mascot) to see him. When he passed Coach and his staff came to his funeral, and remembered him with a moment of silence pre-game. So you wanna know why UW-RF is where they are? It’s because of the people and it starts at the top.
