Pregnancy does not ruin your body. It is the most amazing experience you can ever have. Nothing else compares but it’s not for everybody and if it’s not your thing, don’t do it.

What’s interesting is that now adopting a child makes parents eligible for protected family leave from work to bond. That wasn’t an option with any employer I knew of 30 years ago when I had my kids. Definitely a step in the right direction. Adoptive parents are parents.
