HOLD ON THE SULFUR CUBE IS PEAK

Its funny how Minecraft players will immediately complain about a upcoming feature like their lives depend on it, only to start glazing it on its release after they find out it can make them travel slightly faster than an elytra

Thankfully I wasn't one of these, I liked the feature from the start and this only makes them better!!!

Would a piston be able to redirect the cube to make turns?

I was testing with pistons earlier and they do not seem to work very well, the ceiling collision bug only happens when I hit it or bump into it

@Thepoweroffree2 Whenever I hit the sulfur cube again when it's already on the ceiling it falls down, maybe there's a workaround by making 90 degrees stations so it can reset the glitch, if you know what I mean

@kerebon @Thepoweroffree2 you could just make a contraption per "station" which automatically resets the sulfur cube into the direction you want to go to that way all you'd need to do is punch it again or press a button to make it move

We have faster methods like blue ice highways but this is 100% way cheaper than farming a ton of blue ice

eh i never use that method i didnt really know how to get that ice that didnt melt

Yeah, also this is cheaper than minecarts too It's a really good pre-elytra transport method

Buuuut since it's technically a bug there's a big chance it will get patched, and it makes me sad, but we can still hope

Until it disconnects from the ceiling or gets hit again while moving on the ceiling

Some people said it's an intended feature with slime blocks, honey blocks and apparently froglights since I did it with froglights, and I also tested with other blocks and it actually only works with these 3

I figured out how to make it turn 90 degrees but I had to do some tricks to make it go in a perfect straight line so diagonal is totally possible

now all you need to be able to do is activate it with some kind of simple repeatable redstone contraption that lets you go back and forth while also letting you call it to you when needed

I figured dispensers with arrows can be used to automate it, if that's too expensive I think snowballs can be a good alternative

Or maybe there's a better setup with no dispensers at all and just pistons with slime blocks, but I'm too dumb for that

@DeltaSnooze if the ends are obsidia perhaps a repeating sticky piston and slime block coukd bounce you back and forth repeatedly?

@DeltaSnooze The problem is that the piston doesn't really make it stick to the ceiling unless you make some wacky contraption to make it go forward and then up, and I haven't figured out how to make that go fast enough (it just goes up and stops moving)
