I enjoyed being back on Randall’s Island for the debut of John Summit’s expertsonlyfest ▪️Kamino ▪️AYYBO ▪️Green Velvet x Layton Giordani ▪️John Summit Was impressed with day 1 and with how well run it is (especially when thinking about the last festival that happened here) Arrived at doors and entry was seamless (I heard from friends that it was still quick entry later on), sound quality is great, solid mainstage production, and a stacked lineup across both stages (didn’t get a chance to visit the 2nd but will today). And getting off the island was painless (we took the footbridge route) One thing I’ll say is the 18+ crowd is what you’d expect and there was a lot of yapping. Thinking today’s crowd will be better bc it’s a Sunday Back shortly for day 2 Dancing Astronaut Live
