The team left the objective unoccupied and let me touch point. Didn't cap it but I was under the impression that's what C9 meant I could be mistaken tho, Rivals is my first time playing so I could Def be wrong lol

@D_Wrecked765 its when a team is already on point and leaving point will cost the game immediately (example : overtime with no bar left) thats a c9, cloud 9 esports lost because they got off point which was keeping the game going.

Usually it's when they step off while it's being contested, not before the contesting. As soon as the point started being captured, they all came back to the point. If they would have then left the point while it was being contested, then that would be a C9.

Imo more maps need flanking routes like this because it's too funny

someone needs to start training some of these bots in basic hero shooter language. they throw words around like kite, c9, peel, poke, etc. like they didn’t get it from their streamer last week smh

I'm an incredibly casual player for this game and the furthest I've gotten is GM 2 and this is my first hero shooter I don't watch any of the streamers, and I'm still learning the terminology. You people can be such odd geeks about this kinda thing tho lol

I was mistaken! A few of the other comments clarified what C9 actually meant and it means to leave a point during OT for whatever reason and to subsequently lose a match All I did was ninjacap the point by flanking lol

Im a peak GM 2 and currently in Plat 1 so 99% of my clips are gonna be moreso funny to watch than they are showcases of skill 😭

From my understanding c9 is when the entire team is so focused on the fight that they completely ignore the objective and someone sneaks past them to cap the obj and then win cause of it and it stemmed from this happening in a ow pro play match

This isn’t a C9. A C9 is when the opposing team completely forgets about point/cart in favour of kills. If no one had noticed you capping point and come back this would be a C9 but literally the entire opposing team did 😭

While ig this is a c9 by definition Most people will not recognize this as a c9 and most wouldn’t call it out This is mainly because people don’t recognize c9 unless your in overtime I guess

Okay so I know a lot of people are saying it, but to be a c9 it has to go COMPLETELY uncontested. You touched and they immediately turned around to fight, they lost but since they tried to defend it, it was not a c9.
