One strong first episode can absolutely turn someone into an instant fan, but when the clip is all action and the actual show is mostly a quiet “human hiding among aliens” story with the fighting saved for the last few minutes, people feel baited. Still, if the pilot hit that hard, the rest of the anthology is probably worth checking out. Just name the thing next time.
