Ninentdo 20 years ago , used a "smell" system that was both useful and respectful to the player, a simple toggle on or off

They could've made the smell mechanic way more interactive. Like imagine having a mini puzzle game where you need to remember, distinguish and isolate different scent trails, and following each will result in different outcomes within a level.

This cant be the same studio that made Spiderman

Holy shit I just realized why this game looks so familiar. It looks like the Avengers game. The movement, the climbing, chests emitting sonar pulses, giant line guiding you to an objective, just mashing the same button over an over again in large groups.

After watching so many reviews, it feels like this game is basically the equivalent of being able to complete SIFU game on your first playthrough without knowing anything about its combat system or combos.

I don’t see the problem with the guide, there’s no way it’s that much of an “eyesore” to people.

I feel like this is a turning point for videogame design. These features were very common place for 3d environments in the hd era. I guess videogame literacy has increased a lot and devs no longer have to rely on navigation accessibility for gamers to not get lost.

I really liked his honest take on everything. Really puts it into perspective properly. Also for crying out loud, a scent sense couldve just as easily been a compass, a button to activate it, and Logan saying something like, "Scents coming from the south east"

The entire problem is fixed if they literally just did it like ghost of Tsushima did with wind by swiping the controller pad, just make the scent look less goofy and make it only come up when you swipe once on the pad

The Dumbification of Video games. New Gamers have becomes so allergic to anything that does not hold their hands that developers have no choice to make games like they were gonna be played by toddlers. Video game industry is dying due to it losing its nerdy origin.

You know the re6 mechanic where you’d hold (Q on PC, I dunno what it would be on other games) and it just gives you a pointer to the objective? Just add a smell button. Hell do it just like ratatouille on ps2 did with (again) the sniff button where THEN you get the trail.
