with the way it is opt-in by default, they're pretty much putting everything on people not knowing about it, people not caring/being too lazy to disable it, and inactive accounts

Everyone knows it, what's the point of asking it? Everyone also knows that we won't go back - these things change the way we work. It's debatable whether it's going to be better or worse, but it'll be different.

to be fair to them - this is ABSOLUTELY an Amazon directive along with this needing to opt out rather than opt in. Its still horrible and everyone should opt out but I dont think anyone with any sanity would think this is a good idea outside of the suits.
