Why have so many animation studios started doing this style of terrible closeup shots matched with camera panning? The second half was good, the first half was full of shitty animation gimmicks.

The pacing makes it look awful , everything goes so fast that you can't really appreciate the episode. Reading the manga and paying attention to everything Luffy was doing made it 100% better.
