Holy smokes! When Brooklyn and Los Angeles shared the same stage like it was nothing. Beastie Boys and Cypress Hill live on Arsenio ripping through “So What’cha Want,” 1992.

Although we had a blast, it's hard to tell if we really knew how good we had it back then.

So cool. (Ad-Rock was a bit amped up and screechy that night. Ha)

B-Real’s Afro is amazing!

OMG, this is an insane mash-up of 2 legendary bands 💯 💯 💯 love it!!

How have I never seen this before? Thank you.

They went on an entire tour together in 1992 along with House of Pain — I was there 😎

You forgot to mention an appearance by the one and only Dj Hurricane!

It’s just so good. Nothing on Earth like them before and nothing on Earth since.

I can’t comment about how awesome that was without swearing

I need a Beastie biopic stat

I saw them back in the early 80s in Miami baseball stadium with run DMC, LL Cool J, Beastie Boys, and Houdini and a couple other bands I mean that shit was crazy

DUDE! Just imagine being there thinking you were just seeing the Beastie Boys and then Cyprus Hill comes out! Oh man!

I was listening to the Beastie Boys in mid 80s as a kid. We went from listening to Duran Duran & The Bangles & Police &Depeche Mode & Madonna to rap & R&B groups to grunge movement. When I think of the layered variety of music we had access to hearing just w/in a decade, I weep for kids today who don’t have hardly any variety now except pop in various autotune forms.

They toured together in the 90s, Ive seen them together twice.

Watcha Want still HITS HARD

Sorry but I never knew what people saw in these three heebs from NYC. The 'music' is awful and they were corny as hell. Just three Jëws screaming in the microphone yelling gibberish, not my cup of tea. I could probably say this about everything that came from this genre of shit.

Dope af

@SurfThrash Throw Hurra + cypress + beasties in the mix and out comes magic

Yeah, you can’t front on that.

Never saw this clip. Outstanding! Thanks for sharing.

Cool shit...MCA always flowing smooth. What's up with all the screeching from Ad Rock🤣🤣🤘🏼

Always preferred the Soul Assassins remix version better

And that's a pretty big deal ... east coast west coast rappers ... here, it's didn't matter and that's 💜

I remember watching this live for the 1st time like it was yesterday! Beastie Boys Check Your Head was an amazing album. CH was the bomb👊🏻

B Boys had been living in LA in the years just prior to this... They recorded this album at the "Son of the G" (G Son Studios), their home recording studio in LA, so not that surprising, really.

#RIP Adam "MCA" Yauch

Dope.

Dropping bombs. Boom! 💥💥

Back when things were actually fun sometimes and it felt like maybe humanity would move in the right direction

If this isn't fake you just got a follow

It was a great moment!

@SurfThrash Legends

I still put the remix single with Cypress Hill on playlists

Classic
