Holy… 🤯 this is literally a superhuman hand. One hand can act as both a left and a right hand. Depending on the task or the object being grasped, it can autonomously switch between left-hand and right-hand configurations, bend in reverse, and achieve degrees of freedom beyond a human... show more

Awesome! This is literally a superhuman hand. 🤖✋ ChangingTek Robotics just dropped a dexterous hand that actually morphs between left and right hand configurations on the fly. It uses cable-driven tech to pull off shapes and reverse bends that human hands can't even dream of doing. The power is real too, with a 50N grip force and 10N at the fingertips while staying precise within 0.1N. It is kind of like a rigid octopus, meaning it is tough enough to crank a wrench or screwdriver but smooth enough to grab a drink. Having this much range of motion in a single hand basically doubles the efficiency of any robotic arm in tight spots. Elon Musk: The hand is extremely complex. There are 50 actuators in the hand and forearm Actuator is the motor, gearbox, and power electronics. so that's 100 per robot. There's a lot of complexity So, in order to do dextrous tasks, you have to have a hand with the sensitivity, precision, and degrees of freedom of a human hand. Something we find easy to do, like pick up a screwdriver or turn a wrench, or even say thread a needle, or play the guitar, actually require a lot of dexterity

Hands are as important as the brain. From Shenzhen, Stella Robot has unveiled the PANTHEON HAND 22:a new generation of bionic dexterous hand that combines 22 degrees of freedom with remarkable strength and finesse. It’s a hand that truly understands precision. It can lift 30 kilograms, yet is delicate enough to thread a needle. Each finger can bear 1.5 kilograms, and the entire hand can gently hold a piece of tofu or sense the subtle expansion of a balloon. Powered by a tendon-driven mechanism with integrated actuators inside the forearm, it achieves compact design and natural, human-like movement. From precision assembly and component handling to material transport and human-robot collaboration, the PANTHEON HAND 22 shows what it means for humanoid robots to truly work with their hands.

A dexterous hand capable of operating an iPhone Impressive, with nimble fingertip control. INSPIRE ROBOTS from Beijing has released a new dexterous hand featuring tactile and force sensing, and equipped with a motion library, making it ready to use right out of the box. Especially noteworthy is the modular finger design, allowing users to easily replace a damaged finger. With 13 degrees of freedom and a single-hand load capacity of 30kg, it can be used in general applications such as factory component handling, precision assembly, and warehouse logistics sorting. Notably, this company has already sold over 10,000 of these dexterous hands.

.Brett Adcock explains why Figure pivoted away from designing their humanoid robot's hands after human hands: "This is extremely important. If we want to solve AGI and get to human intelligence in the physical world—it's all going to start with the hands." "Our first-generation hand is a tendon-driven hand." "The rationale here is that a human hand is like this: most of our motors are in our forearm and little tendons drive all the fingers." "It ended up becoming the wrong engineering choice." "We recently unveiled our high degree of freedom, next-generation hand a month ago. This hand has human-level dexterity, as many joints in the hand as a human."

This is a demonstration video of in-hand object rotation with new Torobo Hand. By leveraging large-scale parallel reinforcement learning in NVIDIA Isaac Sim, the learned policy can perform object manipulation in MuJoCo and on the real robot without any additional training.

Elon Musk says that he hasn't "seen any demo robots that have a great hand with all the degrees of freedom of a human hand." "But Optimus does have that… From an electromechanical standpoint, the hand is more difficult than everything else combined."

This looks like another step toward removing the data bottleneck in robotics. The bottleneck exists because recording demonstrations is easy, but labeling every grasp, hold, move, and release is slow and expensive. Perceptron Egocentric dropped a new robotics video annotation system. You give it raw robot-camera or first-person/egocentric video. It gives back structured labels that look more like training data: where each small manipulation starts and ends, what the subtask is, what each hand is doing, where the hands are frame by frame, and which hand is left or right. So, Input: raw video of a person or robot doing a task. Output: a machine-readable breakdown of the physical actions inside that video. Basically, it is a machine that converts robot video into policy-training supervision. That means timestamps, subtask boundaries, per-hand actions, and left-right hand grounding. So this will turn large piles of robot or egocentric video into supervision for training robot policies.

At AI Action Summit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated, “If you ask the AI app to draw an image of someone writing with their left hand, the app will most likely draw someone writing with the right hand.” I tested it on Grok and ChatGPT. In both cases, AI drew person writing with right hand instead of left. I asked ChatGPT to correct it but it failed. Have a look!

Check out Trump’s right hand at the G7 Summit! It’s literally huge and they’re trying to cover something up with makeup again. This is the same hand they did this to previously. As a nurse it looks like he had a IV in his hand possibly for treatment he’s getting along with fluids.

jihoon wants us to promise to have more fun at treasure concerts, film with your left hand and have fun with your right hand 🤙🏻 #지훈 🐶 you’re asking how yesterday was? yesterday was seriously so fun. it really was fun, but hmmm you guys need to have even more fun.. 🐶 you guys need to have more fun. teumes can def go harder than this, but you’re holding back. you guys can def do more, seriously, you really can but everyone kind of hesitates a little. just go out there and enjoy the atmosphere, got it? ok~? 🐶 i’m not saying don’t film or anything like that. you can film, it’s fine, i don’t mind it, because i think that’s the fans’ freedom. but i mean… film with one hand, your left hand, and use your right hand to hold your lightstick and have fun 🐶 but when both hands are on your phone like this… and i’m right in front of you… why are you looking at me through a camera filter first? you came to see me, so why… when i’m standing right in front of you, are you still only looking at me through your phone? it’s just a little disappointing to me 🐶 i’m not saying anyone is doing something wrong or anything like that, i’m just saying it feels a bit sad. i’m literally right in front of you, so why are you still looking at me inside your phone even when i’m right here? 🐶 and i know you want to take pictures, it’s okay. you can film it, keep it. it’s fine, because it’s not prohibited. in concerts where filming isn’t banned, ofc you can film. you want to take photos. ofc you want to take photos when your favorite singer is right in front of you, ofc you want to film it. i know that, we all know that. you can film it but film with your left hand and have fun with your right hand. let’s all make that promise. seriously, let’s really do it, film with your left hand and have fun with your right hand 🐶 because… when i’m like this, from up on stage when we look out like this, your gazes, your lightsticks, those kinds of things... when i feel like i’m directly interacting with each and every one of you like that.. i get out of breath like i might die, i get dizzy and everything, and my adrenaline gets pushed to the limit. but then if it’s all just iphone 17 pro maxes everywhere… it feels a bit disappointing 🐶 but i really do like that you film. i just feel a little regretful like if you film with one hand and have fun with the other.. like use your right hand properly to have fun, and use your left hand to film and capture everything… that’s how it should be, i guess. that kind of feeling 🐶 i’m not saying this to hear sorry from you guys. that’s not what i mean. i’m not saying you’re doing anything wrong, i just mean let’s all have fun together like that 💬 but oppa, if you’re playing with your right hand, the video in your left hand does get shaky so i just jump around and go all out 🐶 but even that shaking… i think of it as part of the live feeling
