Moureen Kinyua, a blogger from Nyeri and by the time of death in May 2019 was a Secretary to an MCA from Nyeri County. Police reports indicate that Moureen, was killed by a drunk driver in a hit and run incident in Nyeri 6yrs ago. At this time William Ruto was the Deputy President of Kenya and Rigathi Gachagua was the MP of Mathira. Ruto, in a video circulating, he is seen making a call to one Nancy, claimed to be Moureen's mother to condole with her following her daughter's death through an accident. 6 years later, William Ruto now President emerges in a rally and claims that he knows who killed Moureen. He accuses Rigathi Gachagua. My concerns; 1. For 6 years William Ruto has been knowing who killed Moureen and he has been quiet. 2. William Ruto, a whole president, knows who killed a Kenyan and he can't initiate a legal process against that person? 3. William Ruto knew that Gachagua had killed Moureen and he still chose him to be his Deputy President, 3yrs later in 2022? 4. Have the investigative agencies taken up the matter, interrogated the accuser and went on to arrest the alleged perpetrator based on the evidence from the witness (Ruto) on the capital offence of murder? 5. Will Ruto stand in court and testify on the allegations that he has given accusing someone of murder 6 years later! This video summarises all the questions in Kenyans minds. On the fourth day of his development tour of the Nyanza Region, President William Samoei Ruto, PhD inspected the ongoing works at the 2,384-unit Lumumba Estate Affordable Housing Project, located in Kisumu Central Constituency, Kisumu County, whose construction began in July 2024. In 2024, police killed 104 Kenyans during protests. In 2025, that number rose to 125. Since June 2024, the Ruto regime has carried out 83 enforced disappearances and over 3,000 arbitrary arrests. Forty-one protest-linked Kenyans are still missing. So far in 2026, police have already shot dead 51 more protesters. Yet the President has done nothing to stop the bloodshed. I had the privilege of accompanying H.E. the President, Dr. William Samoei Ruto, PhD, CGH on his tour of development projects in Mombasa County. During the visit, the President officially opened the Likoni Technical and Vocational College and toured the Changamwe NHC Affordable Housing project among other key initiatives. The Head of State emphasized the Government's investment in projects across the Coast region including the KES 1 billion allocated for fish landing sites, being implemented by my Ministry. Also present were H.E. Deputy President Prof. Kithure Kindiki, EGH as well as Cabinet colleagues H.E. H.E Salim_Mvurya, EGH. (Sports, Culture, and Heritage), Mr. Julius Migos Ogamba (Education), Hon.
