Lmao American doors..bless, Europe has dead bolt systems with 11 points that bonds the entire door to the frame.. plus that screw went in to easy & there easily snapped due to being, well a normal screw

I'd seriously like to see what longer screws in a strike plate do when you have a front door with glass windows! Nonsense!

To me screw diameter probably is more important, but I don’t know.

Own a firearm and learn how to use it safely and effectively. There’s no other sound in the world like a pump shotgun chambering a round to make a creep not want to burst through your door.

The real way......buy a shotgun.....and leave the door unlocked. Everyone wins when that happens.

What Mr ryobi drill doesn’t realize is that someone can just break the glass on his door and unlock it.

You know you have a good message but you lost me when you used Ryobi tools as if you're serious. Do better! LOL

Landlords love it when you move in and cause $1000 in electrical damage.

This still doesn't fix the fragile door frame. Steel frame is better. 2A is best.

Even better to just replace the door and the frame with steel. I always wanted to get steel shutters as well so you could just lock it down, but then you have to worry about somebody burning you out, so then a tunnel that leads to another basement under another house..

Here come all the "experts" 😂😂 Completely missing the point and intention of the Creator. (Or in this case, the Reposter) Too funny.

It’s true I reenforce all my exterior doors on my rentals to keep my tenants safe including adding steel plates on the frame when doors are replaced

Just leave a booby trap behind the door when not home. "That's my pet claymore officer."

I change out those little plate screws AND run the big screws down the door legs every 2 inches run a countersink so head is below surface of wood and putty and paint over it…I do strike side and hinge side…u have to run a Toyota into the door to get thru

Houses would be a lot more secure if the doors opened outwards so this way intruders would be kicking the door on the frame instead of a door in the frame.

Timothy White's profile picture

Why dont they make doors to open OUTWARD instead of inward? Oh right, so the cops can break down your door.

Nah nah take that white thing off bolt a plate over the wood on the dead bolt and put the trim back on

Those are the wrong screws for the deadbolt plate... Handle latch comes with those small screws.
