Key meeting of the day. A very important conversation with U.S. Secretary of State and Acting National Security Advisor Marco Rubio — one of the key architects of American foreign policy. Together with Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov, First Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs Sergiy Kyslytsya 🇺🇦, and Ukraine’s Ambassador to the United States Olga Stefanishyna, we discussed preparations for the meeting between the Presidents of Ukraine and the United States, scheduled for this Friday. We exchanged views on what a long-term security architecture should look like — not only for Ukraine but for all of Europe. The leadership of the United States and personally President Donald Trump made peace in the Middle East possible. This is the kind of vision the world — and Ukraine in particular — needs today. We also discussed the steps that could compel Russia to end its war. Thank you, Secretary Marco Rubio. The American people are truly fortunate to have such a strong and principled Secretary of State.

The idea that 🇪🇺 Europe and 🇨🇦 Canada can increase trade while cutting out the United States is a fairy tale. All debt is denominated in Dollars. If you stop trading with the U.S. you don't get Dollars to service your debt. It's a desperate attempt to hide the economic decline by increasing the money velocity. No real growth is achieved, you just move the dwindling supply of Dollars faster.

Over all these years, trade between our states has been growing, and I am glad that we have such strong economic ties. Undoubtedly, it was a successful Summit, a demonstration of true unity between Europe and America. Ukraine, as always, is uniting the world.
