Homelander vs A-Train

Who tf made this script... One moment A train is so fast he can outrun LIGHT from the eye lasers and run around the scene while everyone is basically frozen compared to his speed (Homelander included) and in the other he can't outrun Homelander? Really???? And it's not even the first time. He outran Annie's light based ability as well in season 1 (or two, I forget which one) which would put him at the minimum FTL.

I don’t understand the concept of how A-Train’s speed had Homelander in slow motion at first like everyone else, then later Homelander is pursuing A-Train and catches up with him? Make it make sense?

I liked A Trains arc. Glad he finally turned into an actual good guy. Kinda

So A Train is shown here: Moving at the speed of light or atleast relative to it. He then takes the longest and dumbest route to save the guy most in trouble (which looks visually hilarious), and after gets caught up to by homelander, whos lasers are now faster? Garbage

Why are homelanders eye lasers faster than A-train when he’s running from Homelander, but hardly moving at all when he shows up?

A-Train ran away from Homelander and died. He gave himself up to not run through a random woman. His world moves in slowmo so he should have seen both her and Robin then easily moved out of the way. Imagine if A-Train died by running through Homelander injuring him permanently.

The way he dodges the innocent girl sparring her life was such a huge moment for his character development.

Him telling him that if he didn’t have his powers he’d be pathetic is great foreshadowing

People are really acting like none of this makes sense. Homelander catching A-train in a chase is not unrealistic if you were standing still and someone ran past you at full speed they would obviously look like they’re going faster than you. If you were running after them however

the slow motion shit is absolutely stupid. Its inconsistent with the actual good part of the chase and also makes it look like he had plenty of time to process robin in the way in the first episode.

Ngl the scene could’ve gone a lot better if he at least landed some hits on Homelander at his top speed then gtfo because it makes no sense if you’re gonna depict him moving at top speed where the world is slowing down and he can’t even at least land a couple of blows or somethin

This scene is basically copied on the X-men movie except that A-Train is certainly not fast enough (and by far !) to be able to see a laser beam in the process of leaving Homelander's eyes giving it's the speed of light.

Couldn't he just kill those 2 there instead of hunting a-train? The writing of this show is so horrifically bad. Glad I noticed it within a few episodes of season 1.

Poor Hughie, in the first season, his girlfriend was ran through by A-Train and her blood was splattered across Hughie’s face. In season 4, when Butcher killed Victoria Neuman, Hughie was covered in her blood. in this last season, that woman was lazered down by Homelander

People shit on this show.. but A Train, MM and Solider Boy have good character arcs and make the show worth watching
