@StandardBankZA Can you actually reduce the interest rate on home loans?

I tried this with Absa, never skipped a payment even paying extra. 12years into the bond, had the rudest consultant say no to revised interest rate on loan. Cant wait to be done with them wouldn't recommend a home loan with them🙄

Infact the easiest way is to ask another bank to take over the current loan. If the they offer the lower rates present it to the current lender, they will counter it, but ure credit worthy must be good. I did that and it worked for me

with a car as well as it keep on depreciating so can you be open for negotiating reduction
