I had an unusual experience, raised in a quasi-home schooling private Christian school, a mainstream private Christian high school, and one year in public school. All I learned in a year in public school was how to sell drugs and fornicate my brains out.

Families have been hacking private education. 4-6 families get together and cover the $80-110k salary of a private teacher and their kids share the education. That's basically 1k/mo for an excellent education. Bring more families into it, and further bring down the cost. Your kid can actually skip high school entirely by getting a GED, enroll in Community College and qualify for grants. They would have an Associates by "Junior" year, and then transfer to a 4 year State College. Instead of a HS diploma, they'd have a bachelor's degree by 18. Many kids continue in to earn a Masters by the time they are 21. Public High School is a monumental waste of time unless you want your kids to learn how to get bullied, deal drugs, learn about being gay and being promiscuous. High School is just big kid child care and actually extinguishes curiosity and libebof learning. It's a monumental waste of time.

I have one grandchild home schooled. She just advanced to the same grade level as her cousin that is a year older. She will pass her in grade levels after this year. She knows more but also has more free time to play and grow.

Homeschool only works if itโ€™s a traditional mother, father household, and the mother is willing to be a full-time Stay at home mom and also the kids teacher. Unfortunately, most American families are not that.

Bro, Iโ€™m sorry but teaching your kids one thing the Bill of Rights does not prove that theyโ€™re smarter than a public school just because you drill one thing into your daughterโ€™s head doesnโ€™t mean sheโ€™s smart. Ask her about literally any other governmental thing and she wonโ€™t know

Anyone that is educated in childhood development is fully aware that homeschooling is incredibly superior to public, mainly preventing peer influence on children which is the main issue with kids today. Problem is most parent canโ€™t teach anything let alone parent, which thatโ€™s the crux of the issue, people having kids that shouldnโ€™t but as long as the government pays useless humans to do that instead of work then natural selection is a joke and the world will continue to get worse due to the welfare state. Not that their shouldnโ€™t be safety net, but if u rely on the safety net donโ€™t add to it. U clearly canโ€™t take care of yourself donโ€™t get more pets, donโ€™t have children, donโ€™t add more burden to your life by projecting your depression into owning other lives, just live out your life and die.

The kids next door are home schooled. I have to say they are respectful and seemingly educated (two doctors as parents). I brought home a 40โ€ striped bass and wanted to fillet itโ€ฆ kids were intrigued. I finally said โ€œI donโ€™t want to do this in front of them.โ€ Mom said โ€œoh Iโ€™m going to teach them.โ€ And she did. She gave an anatomy lesson - while I filleted that fish. I was impressed.

Says more about the failed education system in this portrayed country than the superiority of home schooling.

1st of all: itโ€™s a film, itโ€™s exaggerated. 2nd of all: the education system is barely being funded, they donโ€™t have enough money to fund their school. thatโ€™s why you have to pay money to get in one. and lastly: school is an important step in a personโ€™s life, and can open up more-

If I teach my kid to memorize information that doesnโ€™t make them smarter that just makes them only have the information you gave them. Reciting memorizations is what schools is built on. If thatโ€™s all your willing to teach your kids you might as well just send them to school

Problem with this version of homeschooling is that is geared towards socialists and secular goals. Father craps on Jesus with Christmas, tells its sons to celebrate Chomsky instead of Jesus.

Second by second, minute by minute, hours after hours, day by day, we just wasting all the money and time paying for education at school while all we learn is to be controlled by others, works for others and how to not be yourself. There's nothing at schools and colleges,

Now imagine a parent who believes the earth is flat 5G will cook your brains, everyone is a racist, and 2 +2 =5 is home schooling there kids it's not the public school that are the problem it's the parents stop getting involved in the school and voting people in who are competent

They seem more interested in transgenderism, LGBTQ+ and general brainwashing of thie children. It's about getting them ready for the workforce to start paying their taxes.

By the way if anyone's not seen the film the kids are all heavily flawed and basically feral and have no real social skills. This kid in particular likes to cut up and play with dead animals he finds.

It's just parents... Dumb parents dumb kids... They kid will grow up well if she /he are parented well... Especially by father.... Mentally sick LGBTQ, Pride shit and blaming public school won't change a shit.

Teaching one thing is hilarious you forgot social interactions , team work and understanding your surroundings thatโ€™s what school teaches you without them knowing it.

lol homeschooling has been proven it rarely works and is not healthy for children to learn in a vacuum when you live in a society that has you interacting with other people.

My wife homeschooled our boys. They both received academic scholarships to the colleges of their choice while playing #1 & #2 varsity tennis at the local HS and both top 10 mtb riders in our state. Both graduated college with honors. Public schools are a joke.

8 year old canโ€™t think critically like this. If an 8 year old started talking like Iโ€™d just assume sheโ€™d been indoctrinated by her parentsโ€ฆ.which is worse than nothing at all at this age.

This is simply picking and choosing. Just because 1 kid knows 1 thing, doesn't mean homeschooling is better ๐Ÿ˜‚ He's questioning the kid on something HE KNOWS, she knows ๐Ÿ˜‚ The other kids might no more algebra, maths, general science, etc... This proved nothing at all

All school is, is a glorified day care. Parents need a place to drop kids off who are to young to watch themselves while they work. And during that 8 hour period, they teach you how to add multiply read and write. No more no less
