He has a very good point. Baganda are generally raised to respect adults whether right or wrong. That mentality has sometimes limited my confidence in so many things which is terrible.

Just imagine if the capital was Mbale ,Gulu ,Kabale,Hoima or Mbarara .He made a strong point about Buganda no wonder the British found them collaborative on colonizing the rest of the country

40 years of m7 is a lot, so much so that pple have 4gotten our history. Baganda has been at the forefront of every regime change from 1966 to NRA war. The list of the dead or in prison coz of political protests has mostly baganda.

This thinking sidelines the fact that Baganda have died most in all regime-changing struggles in the history of Uganda. They died in hundreds of thousands in luwero, the last time a regime change happened. Could they be "tired of dying for others" and losing property?

Unfortunately, he is telling the truth. I can't imagine what these people have done in Buganda being repeated in Kabale. That's why a 12 year old Mukiga girl cannot kneel for the President but a Muganda man with beards will do. That's why we have never had a king in Kabale.

He makes a great point, in the cultural upbringing and grounding that becomes hurdle to alot. He is speaking about his tribal people and the shortfalls..instead of bashing him analyse further the truths or falsehoods, and use history to do this
