Narrated Abdullah: "When the Prophet entered Mecca on the day of the conquest, there were 360 idols around the Kaaba. The Prophet started striking them with a stick he had in his hand and was saying, 'Truth has come, and falsehood will neither start nor will it reappear.'" (Sahih al-Bukhari 4287) This act represents holy intolerance, established as a binding commandment from the Sunnah of Muhammad. Quran 33:21 obliges Muslims to regard Muhammad as an excellent role model. Therefore, all his sayings and deeds embody the highest values of Islam and require eternal imitation. Before Muhammad conquered Mecca in 630 AD, tolerance prevailed in the region among all the many different worldviews. This harmony led to a prosperous multicultural social and commercial life. Muhammad turned everything upside down. A region and culture that had lived in tolerance side by side experienced a complete upheaval and became a violent area devoid of all tolerance. Muhammad and his followers smashed and destroyed all the sacred symbols of the other cultures that day in Mecca. Only the Islamic symbol, the Kaaba, remained standing. Since then, this is how Muslims have behaved, and this is how they will behave when they can and when circumstances allow them to do so in the future, because it is their sacred duty. There are countless examples of this. One such example is the destruction of the Buddha statues in Bamiyan by Muslims in Afghanistan in 2001. ⬇️

The Cathedral of Syracuse was an ancient Greek temple. It sits right on top of the old Temple of Athena. Literally built into it. Those huge Doric columns you see inside aren’t 'inspired by' the Greeks. They are the Greeks. They didn’t destroy the temple. They filled the gaps and turned it into a church, letting the ancient structure live on almost untouched. So you walk in and you’re surrounded by 2,500 years of history in one room. Greek stone, medieval walls, Christian altars, all layered together. It feels less like architecture and more like time folding in on itself. This is a Garri production process. Do you know why palm oil is added? It is to reduce the Cyanide content of the Cassava. They know they're not going to ferment it, that's why they're adding palm oil to make it safer for consumption. The downside of adding palm oil is that the Gaari won't swell up like that of fermented Gaari. That is why - Yello Gaari doesn't swell as much as Fermented Gaari - this is a research backed up fact.
