Apparently some simpletons regard shooting these as “sport”. I shoot, but this density of non native invasive species is appalling. The biggest threat to shooting and the benefits it CAN provide are the shooters themselves 😡😡😡

Agreed. Overstocking is an avian health hazard waiting to happen.

Nice and healthy ,feeding well no more an issue for bird flu than slimbridge or any other flock area when they come home to roost look thick on the ground like any birds with communal roost .

Disgraceful. It should be harder to mass release non-indigenous creatures like this, than reintroducing native, but extirpated, animals and birds and yet . . .
