This policy is not sustainable. You can't provide free everything for everybody. I understand why he's putting this out there. It's the mantra for his campaign. The whole idea of a mayoral election is you say anything you can to get elected and then you explain why you can't deliver after you're the mayor. That's how it works in New York and that's how they all did it. They're all guilty of that.

Can you stop making Mayor Magalong a hero? I am not buying the whole Mayor for Good Governance skit of Major Benjamin Magalong — there’s nothing about him that says good governance at all. Up to this point, I still don’t understand why he was appointed in the first place. Just one thing! Was he able to substantiate anything he said the past few weeks? I think at this point, we should be over all his pronouncements. If he has something he would have presented it to the media. Imagine, how hard I laughed when he was invited to the Senate — a taste of his own medicine? He was crying foul over the assumption of people with the Discaya project in Davao City. I for one would say that it is indeed an overpriced one. Php 110 million?! Are you serious? The Mayor would even dare say that not because there’s a Discaya project in Baguio, it means that he’s corrupt. The audacity! How many names did he drag here without anything but his words? PCO Undersecretary Claire Castro dared Mayor Benjamin Magalong to name whomever he is insinuating who instructed her — she even went as far as to clarify and saying that the information came from the President himself. Why is it wrong to refer the issue of the 110 million to the legal team of the ICI? Why is it wrong to protect the ICI from any conflict of interest? Why is it wrong when it is against him and correct if it is towards the others. I would like to ask the media to please ask him to substantiate his claims before giving him all the air time!
