Serious allegations of police brutality in Raidurgam Police Station of Cyberabad Commissionerate,Three Muslim Youths tortured while they were fasting : On 8th March at 12:20 AM near T-Hub opposite Niloufer Cafe, a cop allegedly slapped Mohammed Fazal Ur Rahman Akeef while he along with his freind was standing there, snatched his bike keys and phone, took them to Raidurgam Police Station, asking them to return in the morning to collect their bike. Next morning Fazal Ur Rahman Akeef along with Syed Areeb & Mohammed Sohail went to the Police Station. While waiting for the Inspector, they took photos of their bike & the police station board to inform their family. A cop allegedly ran towards them, snatched the phone and abused them for taking pictures. Soon after, the Inspector of Police Raidurgam arrived and called all three inside his room. After checking their Aadhaar cards, phones, driving licence and bike papers, the Inspector allegedly ordered the cops present to beat them. All three muslim youths were brutally assaulted with hands, tyre chappals and kicked with shoes. Despite repeatedly informing that they were fasting in the holy month of Ramzan, the beating allegedly continued. One youth Syed Areeb had recently undergone head tumor surgery and was suffering from fractured collar bone & hand. Even after showing his surgery stitches and injuries, the assault reportedly continued. After receiving information, I visited the police station, submitted a written complaint and demanded immediate suspension of the Inspector and all police personnel of Raidurgam Police Station responsible for beating the youths. Air Peace Honours Nigeria’s Army troops, Police Personnel By Zagazola Makama A heartwarming gesture by staff of Air Peace towards Nigerian military and police personnel has sparked an outpouring of appreciation from passengers after a video showing uniformed security personnel being applauded while boarding a flight in Abuja went viral. The video captures the moment members of the Nigerian military and Police were called forward to board an Air Peace flight ahead of other passengers, as airline staff stood and applauded them while they made their way to the aircraft. What began as a gesture by the airline’s staff soon drew other passengers into the moment, with travellers joining the applause in a spontaneous show of gratitude and support for the security personnel. The initiative, according to information accompanying the video, was introduced by the Chairman of Air Peace, Allen Onyema, as part of the airline’s efforts to recognise the sacrifices of members of Nigeria’s Armed Forces and Police. Under the initiative, military and police personnel are called to board ahead of other passengers, while Air Peace staff remain standing and applaud them as they proceed for boarding. The gesture is designed to acknowledge the often-unseen sacrifices made by security personnel, many of whom serve in difficult and dangerous environments to protect lives, maintain national security and preserve public order. Some passengers also had a moment offered an opportunity to publicly express appreciation to personnel who spend long periods away from their families and operate under demanding conditions. The spontaneous participation of other passengers transformed the boarding process into a brief but powerful moment of national solidarity. In a country where security personnel are frequently in the public spotlight during periods of insecurity, the gesture also carries a broader message that behind the uniforms are Nigerians who continue to serve under difficult circumstances and deserve recognition for their commitment to the nation. For a brief moment, the nation they serve stood up to say: Thank you for your service. Nigerian Army DEFENCE HQ NIGERIA Air Peace

#WATCH | Delhi | Daughter of a Delhi Police SI (Sub-Inspector) who sustained injuries during the clash between Police and protesters in Delhi, says, "...Before joining the police, my father served as a Marine Commando in the Indian Navy. He dedicated 15 years of his life to the Indian Navy. My father was present at the main protest site. He was on the front line near the barricades, where there was a large crowd. Whenever my father came home at night, he used to say that the protest no longer seemed like a student protest. Many antisocial elements had become involved in it. The very next day, on the 25th, my father was pulled by a rowdy mob and was almost lynched near the stage at Jantar Mantar. This happened on the 25th at around 2:00 PM. He remained unconscious at RML Hospital for about four hours. Around 10:00 PM, his colleagues brought him home, and his uniform was completely stained with blood. It was extremely painful for us to see him in that condition...When I opened social media, I saw that my father was being called a criminal. The very next day, I came to know that the people who had attacked my father were approaching the Supreme Court to wash away their crimes and were filing complaints against him and all the police personnel. I felt very hurt and decided that I should also seek justice for my father. I received support from other police families, and we went to the Supreme Court. We requested an advocate to present our case before the Hon’ble Supreme Court. The advocate assured us that we, too, have equal rights as citizens of this country and that we would also get justice"
