Look at his physical condition at age 59. There are photos of him during his playing career in which he looks much more like an outside linebacker than a shortstop.

If you are a BASEBALL PLAYER, you can roll out of bed on Christmas morning and smoke line drives. I played baseball until I was 52. The ole eye sight starting having trouble so I hung it up finally. 🙃
