Final Nail in TMC’s Fish Propaganda: PM Modi, in Haldia, spoke about fish production across India, highlighting how states like Bihar and Assam are now producing surplus fish, while West Bengal’s share has declined. West Bengal’s contribution to fish production has fallen sharply under TMC, and the state is now more dependent on other states and even Bangladesh to meet its demand. TMC’s misrule and arrogance have stalled the effective implementation of central schemes.

TMC has destroyed West Bengal's fishing industry to such an extent that we now have a Bengali fish mafia 🐟 > Fishers from Bengal enter Odisha illegally to fish since they can't find a catch in Bengal anymore > This is again causing economic pressure for Odia fishermen > Condition of West Bengal has become so bad that it is being forced to import fish from states like Gujarat today > While TMC claims BJP will ban fish, TMC itself has already destroyed Bengal's fishery industry

🗣️"BJP is Anti-Fish. Pro Vegetarian. If they win, you can't eat fish." In 2019, Modi carved out a separate Ministry of Fisheries. Launched "Blue Revolution" In 2013–14, India’s fish production was 95.79 lakh tonnes. With extensive support, production rose to 197.75 lakh tonnes by 2024–25. More than double 🤯 The change is visible on the ground. > In Bihar, 90–95% of market fish once came from Andhra. That dependence is now down to about 5%. Production has surged to around 10.89 lakh tonnes. The state is not just self-reliant, it supplies freshwater fish to Nepal, Bengal and bordering Jharkhand👏 A ministry. Targeted schemes. Infrastructure. Then the result: Fisheries earning more, states standing on their own feet. Watch Rajiv Ranjan (Lalan) Singh explaining this🇮🇳

BJP's playing the Bengali Asmita card much better than TMC this time 🪷 > While Begum's rallies are devoid of Bengali symbolism, Suvendu is invoking Rabindranath Tagore's famous poem "Where the mind is without fear" > He also invokes famous freedom fighter Matangini Hazra (from Tamluk, Purba Medinipur) who died chanting Vande Mataram even while being assassinated > Smriti Irani (whose mother is a Bengali Brahmin) attacks TMC on the issue of fish, whose production has fallen in Bengal under TMC 🐟 > She says while TMC claims BJP will stop fish in Bengal, the state itself is importing fish from BJP ruled states like Assam + Gujarat today. > She also attacks Begum on the issue of blocking central funds to programmes like MNREGA, says that the money ends up in pockets of TMC leaders instead of the masses.

Delhi: On BJP leading in the West Bengal Assembly election results, Chairperson of the Delhi Hajj Committee, Kausar Jahan, says, "This is a victory for PM Modi. In Bengal, there was an attempt to form a government by relying on infiltrators under the TMC and Mamata Banerjee, which has been stopped by PM Modi and Amit Shah."

During the 2026 West Bengal election campaign, BJP candidates were frequently seen holding fish while campaigning. This was part of a deliberate outreach to reassure voters that the party would not interfere with the state’s staple diet of fish and meat if voted to power. However, in its very first budget after forming the government, the BJP administration has removed eggs from the mid-day meal scheme for students in Kolkata schools by handing over the programme to ISKCON for vegetarian meals.

Mamata Banerjee claimed that fish imports from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have stopped. So I went to check the Howrah Fish Market. At least 7 trucks from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana were there. The drivers said that more than 100 trucks arrive daily from these states. Any Bengali visiting the fish market can see trucks with AP and TS number plates. Mamata Banerjee knows this, but she is lying because PM Modi has promised to make Bengal self-reliant in fish production.

Today at the massive rally in Arambagh; Hooghly district, Hon'ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji's message was loud and clear - TMC has betrayed West Bengal. When on one side the country is making giant strides on parameters of development and earning international laurels under Hon'ble PM's visionary leadership, unfortunately on the other side misdeeds of TMC's marauders in Sandeshkhali under the patronage of Mamata Banerjee has caused embarrassment to the whole country. The Voters of Arambagh along with the whole State will teach TMC a lesson which they won't be able to forget for a long long time. BJP BJP West Bengal

1/3 West Bengal BJP President Shri Samik Bhattacharya made it absolutely clear that the mandate BJP has received in Bengal is against the anarchy that was prevailing in the state. Today, people he doesn't even know are coming to him with flowers and gifts.

I am absolutely amazed to have attended the massive Poriborton Songkolpo Sobha in Malda today, headlined by our visionary Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji. His powerful message resonates deeply. After decades of regressive politics stifling Eastern India, now Bihar, Odisha, and Assam have embraced BJP's development agenda and are thriving. Now, it's West Bengal's turn to embrace development. Let's end the era of corruption, violence, and misgovernance under TMC. Together, we'll build a prosperous, safe, and progressive West Bengal under PM Modi Ji's careful guidance. #PoribortonSongkolpoSobha #JitbeBJPJitbeBangla BJP West Bengal

In a phone call with 'Rajmata' Amrita Roy (BJP candidate from Krishanagar, West Bengal), PM Modi said that he is exploring legal options to ensure that the money looted from the poor in West Bengal goes back to them through whatever assets and money ED has attached from the corrupt. PM also said that one hand BJP is committed to uprooting corruption in the country and on the other hand all the corrupt have come together to save each other. The PM expressed confidence that West Bengal will vote for 'Parivartan' in the state.

Paschim Medinipur, West Bengal: On Assam State Assembly Elections, TMC MP Saayoni Ghosh says, "So I'm not concerned. Assam BJP should be thinking about how they're going to deal with the Trinamool Congress in Assam. The kind of support that Assam has shown the Trinamool Congress this time... So the kind of support that the people of Assam have shown to Trinamool Congress, I don't think it is the Congress that the BJP needs to think about, but it is the Trinamool Congress that BJP needs to be scared of"
