hoooly smokes! Midscene.js writes UI automation tests by using natural language. Hooks into puppeteer/playwright, or control any website via the chrome extension. Watch this video, I asked it this: Open the search bar type "react server components " click the first result play the episode

We’re building something similar (natural language end-to-end AI tests) that integrates into your CI: Open source too!

sweeet! any demos online yet?

We also provide a chrome extension that "just works"

k that’s kinda insane

* tests failing because of hallucinations *

wow set-of-marks is making a comeback? we tried this last year while building @MomenticAI - the heuristic for figuring out what to highlight is very noisy esp for complex b2b saas apps that might not have the best HTML structure our current approach is still multi-modal but much more heavily relies on HTML+a11y tree

I knew this was coming, happyyyyy! :)

How about TDD? Does this require the feature to work to initially setup the test?

I don't see why not - just write your broken tests and then code until they pass. I'd imagine you'd need to tweak the prompts to get it to work perfectly though

Welcome back Robot Framework
